Ms. Dominique Young-Smith Classroom Assistant Young Children's Community
Dominique Young-Smith was born and raised in Washington, DC. She began her love of education working with The United States Holocaust Museum’s Bringing the Lessons Home program. While there, she engaged high school students in international issues and helping them grow into confident young adults. After the challenge of working with teenagers, Dominique wanted to explore different age groups. During a year of service in AmeriCorps she taught Saturday school for middle school children and worked with elementary students during the week and after school. Dominique soon realized that working with younger children made her the happiest. She is extremely excited to be working with Full Circle Montessori team. As a former Montessori student herself, she knows the benefits last a lifetime.
